Would Jesus Have a Tattoo?

Constance Jones With Potential Church Pastor Troy Gramling
Would Jesus have a tattoo?? Would he approve of church services in a tattoo parlor?
One South Florida congregation meets every Sunday morning at a South Beach tattoo parlor to have church.
Calvary South Beach, meets every Sunday at 8 a.m. at the Miami Tattoo Company on South Beach.

The Bible does not specifically address tattooing, but in the Book of of Leviticus, Chapter 19, Verse 28, it says, "You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you." Check out the story I did with Potential Church Pastor Troy Gramling on WPLG Local 10 News.

These honorees were nominated by their peers, then vetted and chosen by a distinguished and highly accomplished Selection Committee, comprised of 40 Under 40 alumni.

All of the honorees were showcased in the Business Monday section of the Miami Herald. My Husband Troy Simmons was also selected as an honoree.

Honorees include a meteorologist; interior decorator; radio personality; and several attorneys, entrepreneurs and not-for-profit executives. This is just a sampling of the 40 impressive honorees in this year’s group.

I was also featured on "the competition!" I think NBC 6 South Florida is trying to get steal some WPLG Local 10 viewers! Special thanks to Exclusive Access for these great pictures!

German Americans-- Who to Root For?

The big question I was asked for the World Cup Game-- “Who are you rooting for- Germany or the United States?”

The game did provoke a sense of anxious among fans who would cheer for one team if they weren't cheering for the other.
Well- I was born in Germany, spent most of my childhood in Germany, born to a German mother, speak conversational Germany and I have dual citizenship.  To say the least, I have always been rooted in my German heritage.
I was the only one in my newsroom solely, constantly, and loudly rooting for Germany.   I even wore my German Colors & Flag on TV!

The German/American complex extends to the teams!
U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann was a world-class striker in the Bundesliga and other European leagues in the 1990s, and helped lead the German national team to the World Cup championship.  There are also five German Americans on the US Team - Jermaine Jones, Fabian Johnson, Timmy Chandler, John Brooks, and Julian Green.
Who are your rooting for in the World Cup Games?
