Melted Crayon Art

So, this is an amazing idea I found on Pinterest a few weeks ago! It’s one of the most interesting and simplest crafts I’ve seen. A beautiful work of art can be created in less than 15 minutes, for less than $10!

Get a box of 64 crayons and take all the blacks and browns out.  Use another box of crayons and double up all the bright colors! Then, using a hot glue gun, glue the crayons to the top of a canvas.  Then, turn your blow dryer up to hot and blow on the crayons.
Within seconds, the wax will begin to melt and you will have a beautiful and creative piece of art!

Special thanks to Meg Duerksen who shared this great idea on her blog at megduerksen.typepad.com.
