Fall Craft Tree
Take a
look at this exciting Fall Craft Tree—a great project for kids at any age!
What you
need:
- Old Puzzle Pieces (you can find a new puzzle at the Dollar Store
- Brown paper sack (or construction paper)
- Paint
- Glue
You
start off by making the tree trunk by cutting strips of a brown paper bag or
brown construction paper. Here comes the
fun part--scrunch the paper up to create texture for the tree. Glue the
branches and trunk to the blue piece of paper.
For the
leaves, use old puzzle pieces and glue them on the branches. Feel free to paint the puzzle pieces
beforehand if you want a specific color.
Have fun
overlapping the pieces to give it more dimensions.
What a
perfect Fall Craft for the kids! I found is project on www.IHeartCraftyThings.blogspot.com! Special thanks to Rachel Nipper for allowing
us to share this project!

Beach Craft Fun
With these warm summer temperatures, many of us are heading to the beach to
cool off. This is the ultimate beach craft for your kids! I found this
wonderful crafting idea on BeautyandBedlam.com!
All you need is Plaster of Paris to make these fun imprints with your
kids.
1.
Have your child press his/her hand or feet into
damp sand, making a 2-inch-deep impression.
2.Put treasures pretty side down (shells, rocks,
pretty rock glass) in your impression. Make sure you don’t push them too hard
into the sand.
3.Mix the Plaster of Paris. Make sure it is nice
and thick and creamy.
4.Carefully pour the plaster into the inlay of the
print.
4. Let the plaster set until it’s hard –
approximately one hour. To remove the print, carefully dig out the sand from
around/underneath the plaster.

Father’s Day Crafty Gift- Swing Batter Batter
Still looking for a great gift
for dad? Here’s a crafty idea that’s fun for the kids to make. And-if your dad
is baseball crazy, he will adore this creation. All you need is a bunch of old baseballs.
If you don’t have any- you can buy some used baseballs or softballs from your
local thrift store.
Use a drill to make holes through 10 balls. If you decided to use
softballs, make sure you have a longer drill bit because of the size of the
ball.
Get a wire coat hanger and straighten it up. You can snip the
curly ends off so you have a straight wire.
Now just randomly string the baseballs and softballs on the
straight wire. Twist one side to make a loop and then curl the wreath so it
creates the wreath shape and the other side of the hanger meets the loop. Wrap
the remaining section of hanger through the loop you created and close so that
it's secure.
Technically you are done at this point, but you can add a
little something. Maybe a bow or a baseball hat!
Special thanks to Pintrest Projects Blogspot for sharing this
great project!
