Art Gallery Wedding

Looking for a wedding location that will totally WOW your guests? Why not consider an art gallery. This weekend, my husband and I were amazed to see the transformation of the Bakehouse Artist Complex.Surrounded by modern art, the gallery was turned into an elegant reception hall.

 The wedding ceremony took place outside. Each chair was decorated with delicate baby's-breaths.

  It was simple and beautiful.

 

The Bakehouse Artist Complex was a bakery in the 1930's. It was abandoned, then reclaimed by the artists in the Wynwood Art District in Miami. The building is truly a reflection of the beautiful urban landscape which symbolizes the essence of downtown Miami. 

Chic Baby Shower- Welcome Baby Zoe!

Who says you need diaper cakes and silly baby games at your shower?? People are finding brand new ways to snaz up the event-- by really taking it beyond a backyard barbeque.  My sorority sister Angela Jones from Texas hosted her shower in the heart of Houston's Galleria Area at the Living Room Bar & Lounge.  It's an upscale club with a sophisticated taste!  From the food to the decor, this is far from your traditional baby shower!

South Florida Beach Wedding

This is why I love South Florida—the beautiful white sandy beaches.  Troy (my hubby) and I recently attended a beach wedding and it was absolutely unbelievable.

Wenise and Rohan were married at the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Beach in Fort Lauderdale.

The Sand Unity Vase symbolizes the joining of two lives.  Pink sand for the bride and regular sand for the Groom.  It’s a popular alternative to the unity candle! Each person pours sand into a vessel to show the intertwining of their lives.

This simple ceremony site was perfect for the nuptials!  A few flowers and two pillars created an aisle for the bride to walk down.
