ATLANTA - FOX 5 Atlanta announced that Constance Jones will join Good Day Atlanta as an anchor in October. Jones comes to FOX 5 from WPLG-TV in Miami, where she has been an anchor and reporter for several years.
"I'm honored to be joining the Good Day Atlanta team and look forward to sharing the stories that matter most to the community. After 9 years in Miami, my husband and I are excited and ready to explore all that the Peach State has to offer and sample some real down-home Southern cooking," Jones said.

Prior to her time in Miami, Jones worked an a reporter at KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City, and as an anchor and reporter at KETK-TV in Tyler, Texas. Jones graduated from the Dan Rather School of Communications at Sam Houston State University and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Radio and Television.

Jones will co-anchor Good Day Atlanta weekday mornings from 4:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. along with Buck Lanford, Ron Gant, Alyse Eady, Joanne Feldman and Katie Beasley.
