Constance Jones - My TV Looks

I am ALWAYS asked —how do I keep up with my TV Looks. Viewers ALWAYS seem to remember my repeat outfits!   Well, thanks to modern technology I digitally archive my daily looks with my cell phone.  I simply take a picture of my outfits and then build an album on my phone-- that allows me to remember when I wore a specific outfit!

Getting dressed is a breeze with my cell phone! Here are a few of my looks from this SUMMER!

Pumpkin Soup on New Year's Day!! :)

Are you hoping that 2013 will be a great year? Try some of these foods that are believed to bring good luck!  In Mexico, they eat 12 grapes, making a wish with each one.  In the southern United States, they eat black eye peas.  The peas expand when you cook them-- symbolizing growth and fortune in the New Year!

There's also a traditional dish that is sure to make you lucky in the New Year-- Soup Joumou--Haitian Pumpkin Soup! It's so yummy! The soup was once forbidden to slaves-- so in honor of their independence they eat the soup on January 1st! The soup is made and served to friends in family in remembrance of their fight for free!

I am so blessed to have friends to share this yummy soup with me! So instead of grapes or black eye peas-- it's Pumpkin Soup for me!

Do you eat any special food for New Years???

Creepy Viewer Mail.... The Joys of Being on TV.

Every job comes with its highs and lows.  For people on television, we have to deal with stalkers.  For the past 10 years, I’ve covered news from across the country. In every TV market I’ve worked in—there’s always been those “faithful viewers” who plague me with mail, emails and now Facebook messages.

During the holidays, I enjoy receiving Christmas Cards from viewers. But what really creeps me out—are handwritten letters from viewers.  One viewer proposed to me, another asked me the size of my feet.  Just weird!?!

And don’t get me started on Facebook!!!! It’s opened up a whole new world of creepiness.

Thankfully, I have a very protective husband that monitors all of my messages--lol!

Do you have any creepy stalkers?? What’s your story?

Asian Afro Perm

Most of us (including myself) try hard to press out our curly-frizzy hair.
But in Asia—kinky hair is the hottest trend!
The Asian Perm is used on naturally silky straight hair to achieve the fuller textured look. Hair stylist use traditional perming rollers to allow these curls to take shape. The technique can also be used for dreadlocks or braided styles.
What do you think of the curly hair style?
