As a television broadcaster, I am constantly searching for tips from other journalists on how to balance a hectic work schedule with a busy personal life. Mara was completely transparent, as she shared her struggle with her own eating disorder while finding balance in her life. She described herself as a binge eater, addicted to twinkies, donuts and pizza. She now lives by the motto, "Great Bodies are made in the kitchen not the gym! " She says the biggest factor to her 90 pound weight loss was changing her diet! After reading the book, I wanted to learn more! ABC News featured Schiavocampo, by sharing her personal images of her food and family!
